– Proof of English language proficiency is mandatory at the time of registration.

– Applicants to the master’s program must demonstrate English proficiency sufficient to read and understand academic texts in English. The minimum scores required for acceptance of each exam, for both general applicants and candidates eligible for affirmative action, are listed below:

* If the candidate chooses to take the free English proficiency exam (EF Standard English Test – 50 min EF-SET), they must express their interest by April 2, 2026, by sending an email to ppg.cfrp@usp.br, with the subject: “Expression of interest in the 50 min Proficiency Exame-EF-SET”. The test will be conducted remotely on the EF-SET platform, under program supervision via Google Meet, until April 9, 2026. Only certificates from the EF-SET exam taken on the date established by the program and under remote supervision will be accepted. (See the full call for applications)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

– Other English language proficiency exams may be evaluated by the CCP-CF upon request from the candidate submitted before the application deadline (See the full call for applications)

– For the validation of certificates not listed in this Call for applications, candidates must send an email at least three days before submitting their application, including: (i) a letter requesting validation, and (ii) the certificate to be analyzed, including its correlation with the CEFR scale. Candidates who submit certificates not listed in this Call for applications without prior validation request will have their application rejected.

– Foreign applicants from countries where English is the official language, who have resided there for at least 18 months, duly proven, are exempt from submitting proof of English proficiency.

– The Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences is not responsible for applications not received within the deadline due to any eventuality (for example, possible technical problems, communication failures, as well as other factors that prevent date transfer, etc.).
