DEFENSE
– According to the Notice, all graduate students, regardless of whether not they have been CAPES scholarship holder, must write in the acknowledgments, the sentence described below, in the language of the work:
“The present work was carried out with the support of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel – Brazil (CAPES) – Financing Code 001″ or “this study was financed in part by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel – Brazil (CAPES) – Finance Code 001″
– We request that the Thesis/Dissertation be sent to the e-mail: spg@fcfrp.usp.br, in word file, so that we can check for possible formatting errors before the deposit.

SPECIAL STUDENT
– Special student application form
Together with the application form, duly completed, the special student must present the following documentation:
– Copy of RG (Identity Card) and CPF (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) (CNH – National Driver’s License – will not be accepted);
– Proof of acceptance of the person responsible for the discipline (official letter or email);
– Current and certified enrollment statement for undergraduate students from USP;
– Copy of the Graduate Diploma (double-sided) in the case of graduate students.
For the special student to enroll in discipline, an enrollment fee of BRL 214.00 (two hundred and fourteen reais) per discipline will be charged. If the student enrolls in more than one (1) discipline in the semester, the fee will be charged per discipline. THERE WILL BE NO return of the amount paid, EVEN if the student requests the cancellation of the enrollment.
The enrollment fee shall be paid through bank payment slip, bank transfer or at the School Treasury, after the conference of the documentation. The bank payment slip or bank data information shall be sent by e-mail to the applicant only after the conference and validation of all documentation required for the special student.
The application forms for enrollment as special student, for the students who choose to pay by bank payment slip or bank transfer, will only be effective after the sending of the proof of payment of the enrollment fee to the e-mail bbio@fcfrp.usp.br .
Exemption:
– Undergraduate students who are regularly enrolled at the University of São Paulo are exempt from fees for enrollment in courses.

Foreign Student
Site do CCInt’s (International Cooperation Committee) Regional Office in Ribeirão Preto and the Center for Foreign Students and Teachers (CAPEE) sites with the new contents.
Request the CPF (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) enrollment directly from the Consulate/Embassy of Brazil in the country where they reside, since the CPF enrollment is immediate and exempt of charge.
The foreigner student must fill in a form available on the page of the Federal Revenue Service and then search for a Brazilian Consulate/Embassy in the country of residence, bearing the printed form and a personal document that proves the nationality, date of birth and parents’ names (in the case of children under 16, the necessary documentation must be confirmed with the Brazilian consulate).
